A spring wreath in the shape and colors of the rainbow

Spring crafts and creative manual activities

Materials and tools needed:

  • Simple moss wreath
  • Large sharp knife
  • Pen
  • Matching ribbon
  • Hot glue gun
  • Scissors
  • Sticker dots
  • White cardstock

Step by step realization:

1. Using a large knife with a reasonably sharp saw, cut your moss crown in half.

3. Choose the first color of ribbon and attach its end to the end of the half-crown using glue. Start wrapping this one around, making sure to stretch it tight and that the entire section is evenly covered with tape.

5. Then, take another ribbon color and fix the end of it on the half-crown by overlapping it with the previous ribbon. Start winding just like in the last step until you reach the mark finishing the second section. Do the same on the integrity of the foam half-crown!

6. To adorn the two ends of the resulting rainbow, cut out two clouds of white paper. You could do this by hand, finding a template online, or using a relatively large cloud hole punch. The two clouds you are going to attach using glue on the two opposite ends of the rainbow.
